  • ID cards for all human and canine citizens in the ‘UK’? A no-brainer.

A no-brainer in the Merrian-Webster online dictionary is ‘something that requires a minimum of thought,’ and in the Collins online dictionary as ‘something so obvious, simple, etc., as to require little thought.’ AI also pops up a definition on a screen, but this blog does not read AI. Every definition of a no-brainer means basically the same thing, apart from as the Collins online points out, there is a very informal USA slang which could occasionally refer to a person as a no-brainer, meaning they are really stupid, but even that is a bit stupid because there are plenty more words to describe a stupid person which don’t require four syllables, so the usual use of a no-brainer is not about a person themselves, but the action, the proposed plan, the intention to do something which has a tangible evidence.

Someone might say this title sounds a little muddled. ID cards are for humans who sure, are citizens, but dogs could not have an ID card because they are animals, they don’t have pockets or wallets or an i-phone to have a digital ID. Animals come under licences or certificates, and dogs live with a human who will have an ID of some sort, or live in a charity animal rescue home when it’s owner cannot care for it due to ill health or unforeseen circumstances, or the foreseen circumstances of being a lifestyle accessory and after a big hype then finds itself in an animal rehoming place but that place will have the relevant Council paperwork for trading and animal matters.

In the ‘UK’ at present an individual human does not have a government ID card but a variety of all sorts of different ID options, and an individual dog does not have its own ID either. Cats wish to be stated that they stand apart from discussions of this nature.

ID cards are about citizens, and a citizen is the same term for every human citizen because it is not the actual person even though we are ‘citizens’, but it is the legal bond between a governing power and the people of its jurisdiction. This writer studied law a long time ago and finds the terms jurisdiction and jurisprudence endlessly fascinating and unfortunately dropped from common parlance in the rise of the ‘Cult of the Individual.’ Before a digression slips in, the link between a governing power and the people within that jurisdiction – the area of power, control, responsibility, agency, same page – are citizens because that link creates a national country which is on geography but is the actually the geography. Someone from another national jurisdiction might be visiting another geographical region, but it does not make them a citizen when they arrive because they do not have that legal, governmental, citizen link. So a citizen is defined by that legal link of government and governance top down (two more deeply relevant words there, g+g), and of course everybody knows, a citizen in the noun is a human being with both rights and responsibilities under that legal link, back to the governing power which issues the citizenship.

So an ‘ID card’ is the shorthand for not any ID, not a passport, driving licence, birth certificate, or a few other possibilities which every citizen of a jurisdiction carries, either in its pocket or on its i-phone. The website of World Privacy Forum shows the areas of Earth (that spinning mass of rock in space, held in place by the Light and gravity of Helios)where ID cards are compulsory. This means that every citizen of those nation states all carry the same ID card in the generic sense, with their individual identity on that generic card.

    https://worldprivacyforum.org/posts/national-ids-and-biometrics

Whether an ID card is ‘mandatory to carry at all times,’ or every citizen has an ID card is only a semantic difference. It is the fact of the citizen ID which is at point here. In the ‘UK’ we do not have citizen ID cards but we did in the National Registration Act 1939, in WWII, and kept until 1952 when Sir Winston Churchill’s government abolished the concept as not just unnecessary but ‘not British’. The population of the ‘UK’ in 1952 was just over 50 million people. Because identification is such a very necessary link in governance, or who is it that is being governed and has these rights and responsibilities, just as penguins can identify other adults and baby penguins out of thousands, such is the care the adults penguins provide with their offspring, the concept of a societal link is the point of this blog. Dyslexia may have taken over there. The point was that for a group of the same species to survive, there has to be that governing link which links the same species, although many many species inhabit the same patch of land and many billions inhabit the Earth, as it spins in space. The information on the Institute for Government’s website gives such a very useful overview of the question of ID cards in the ‘UK’ (apostrophes this blog’s, not the IoG)

    https://www.instituteforgovernment.org.uk/explainer/digital-id-cards

    https://www.instituteforgovernment.org.uk/comment/government-still-has-questions-answer-digital-ids

Tony Blair, of the government which upended the global education network into a bubble which is rapidly collapsing leaving millions in a desperate state, often in a foreign country and unable to go back to the apparent lack of freedoms where they came from, amongst all the other collapses in the ‘UK’ from that era, is in favour of ID cards, though on his ‘Institute for Global Change’ (whatever on Earth that means) webpage states ‘digital ID systems improve governance, facilitate greater inclusion, fuel economic growth, and help governments achieve their core goals.’ The benefits to governments are stated as administering the benefit system more smoothly, and the NHS, and keeping personal data actually safer rather than having many different forms of ID. The last point seems completely valid.

This blog observes the other direction of travel, as it were, and instead of going outwards into ID cards making it easier to administer governance to the whole world, fuel economic growth however it is believed that would happen, and greater inclusion, this blog is observing what would happen if ID cards or digital was mandated for every citizen of the ‘UK’. The various discussions and half starts of projects, as detailed on the IoG website, since 1952, are on the same legal concept of the link between governing body and humans who are called citizens, the ID card which formalises that neutral fact of the citizen.

However, from 1952 the society of the ‘UK’ has changed out of all recognition. The population of just over 50m has risen to c.70 million, that’s a rise of 40%, and now instead of localised societies, often in situ for 100s and even 1,000s of years, regional societies formed by the very different geography, accents, agricultural produce or fishing (before decimated by the EU), with the cities and major towns all with the groupings of ethnic minority people from all over Earth, as were the different white people spread over the ‘UK’ from Irish red and brown to the Swedish white sort, the Welsh again, Scotland ranging all from Irish to Norse people, and the Cornish a distinct physique and language, with most humans very close to production of vegetables, meat, fish if coastal, fruit, fresh water, all in their place within the seasonal year. In 2025 with societal collapse, systems collapse, the Palace of Westminster needing urgent repair, the political parties elected on protest votes, appeals to ‘the young’, the stated democracy bringing people from all over the world to have their voice, freedom, opportunity, individual identity, and be assured of guaranteed economic prosperity and not just that but growth, the ‘UK’ is in such a very great opportunity to examine this question of the link between citizen and government.

In general a mass of confusions can only be sorted if there is a common denominator, and a common denominator in maths is the baseline number of a fraction so 2/5, 3/5 and 4/5 all relate to each other in some way, and as a percentage that is 40, 60 and 80 (just check that, yes, it is) because a percentage is governed by 100 which creates the top down governance to define all the figures, or citizens. Why is the ‘UK’ since the time of reality of war had faded so opposed to ID cards? Reform are against it, Nigel Farage for again the fact that it is just not British. So what is British? The map of countries, the 131 of them, which have ID cards are about functional government, so why in this time of absolute collapse and impending god knows what would a government in the ‘UK’ not want to introduce an ID card, hard copy or digital?

If there would be one action to rapidly bring many many issues under one alignment, if the centralised link between citizen and gov was an entity in itself, how much in percentage figures would the so many aspects of societal collapse just lose their identity, from the fact of having that identity card? Just by implementing one for each citizen – not offering or encouraging or ‘nudging’ or persuading – how much would society order itself around the concept of the citizen and the restoration of nothing more than the survival of a society requiring a balance of both rights and responsibilities. With everything now filtered through the individual and the days of WWII when raising an army was a reality, and the citizens all formed round the necessary actions for that, and the link land, each human, government was too obvious for anyone to know how things would look in 2025, if one single thing could bring some clarity to the multiplying questions faced by a collapsing society, why not do it?

Humans are humans, canines are canines, but the concept of ID this blog sees as the same. The concept in really general terms is what is it and what function does it fulfil, and is there any difference between the clarity which ID cards bring to raise the human citizens above their ‘individual rights’ to being just one common denominator of millions within a nation but that new identity which is formed which links government to humans. With the dog population having risen to about 13 million in the ‘UK’ in 2025, for all the reasons of the pandemic when people suddenly wanted a puppy to cheer them up and puppy farms sprang up overnight to provide the new commodity and the dog food industry saw the next economic boom, the dog coats and accessories industries jumped fast into smart outfits for all occasions, the dog sitters, dog walkers, dog psychologists, dog hairdressers, dog therapists, all entered the boom with largely the female humans responsible for this strange madness of creating a sweet little child not from the normal practices of the goodness of men and women interaction (and which was largely good until the ‘women and girls’ misanthropy created the new witch hunt, now against males). The millions of dogs now, 13 million of them, form a whole new society both in the link the (mostly) females have created with a dog instead of a man and which can be controlled and projected onto with ease and the societal chaos in dog bites, plastic bags of dog poo left around, if it is picked up and really why is it not used as fertilizer or something, the new societal issues of vet bills, the need to work from home because of the dog, and of course the inevitable end result of many dogs just being put out to a dogs home when it does not fit anymore with requirements, just as the females now put the men out when they want some of their own individual expression time and space. It is also said to be a ‘British thing’ to love animals, though the French in a much bigger land area have only about half the number of dogs in the jurisdiction of the French government, and in France the link between chien, owner, government is a much clearer alignment than in the ‘UK’. Everyone is more on board, on the same page, the citizens to the government et les chiens avec leur citoyen francais (which has accent of course).

If a dog licence was required for ownership of any dog from a little pooch to a big strong dog, costing say £10, how would that automatically reduce this new societal crisis of over 13 million dogs in the ‘UK’? It would do, that’s just a fact not an opinion. Why? Because less people would get dogs on a whim, therefore less dogs would be soon taken to an overflowing dogs home, and there would be less of a marketing magnet for venison and duck dog food at £9.99, less of a market for dog coats, hairdressers, psychologists, attacks by off the lead dogs, etc., and less people would find themselves facing a large vet’s bill. Would the RSPCA think that is a good idea? Would the police? Would the many different dog’s homes? Would a societal poll in a neighbourhood, anonymous of course? All probably yes, this blog does not want to assume for anyone. If a government was faced with Yes or No, introduce a dog licence costing £10 to the local council before ownership of a dog is legal, the same response would raise to the human ID card – not fair on the individual, and for the dog’s licence no doubt, how could people be expected to pay £10?

Human ID cards and dog licences can therefore both be taken as the same governmental issue, and a healthy governance link between citizen and government could put both in place within one month, or thereabouts. Implementing both actions would rapidly bring an alignment, and in alignments that which is not in alignment rapidly falls away because the common denominator forms a living identity. That is not meant to be mystical talk but merely the living reality of the seen and unseen which links a functioning society, of humans or bees or geese or ants or mackerel.

  • Wise men follow the Stars

The Star of Bethlehem, a UFO, fabrication, or astronomical computation?

    https://www.skyatnightmagazine.com/news/star-of-bethlehem-stopping-comet

The fixed date of December 25th when the Christians mark the birth on Earth of the son of God stands as a bit of an anomaly in these deep winter weeks in the northern hemisphere, although taken to its logical conclusion, the outcome is very clear.

Helios at Winter Solstice has an overarching logic. Incrementally the Light from the Sun moves down the horizon, rising and setting lower and lower in east and west until that deep place of pause around the 21st, given as 3:03pm GMT this year in clock accuracy, and laid out by the priests of olde as in the evidence at Newgrange where the newborn Light of the World enters the small portal above the entrance at the turn again from Tropic of Capricorn on its way up to the Tropic of Cancer. We know now that the tilt of Earth on its axis produces this effect but Light is light, and life within the atmosphere depends on it, and which is why in times past the reality of food supplies, frozen winters, circadian rhythms, and the survival of a small society depended on knowing ‘the time of the year.’

In pre written calendar times the knowledge of passing of time during the dark months would be very useful, and it was known, as Newgrange demonstrates, and the work of Prof. Alex Thom has measured. Prof. Thom, 1894-1985 grew up in 55′-56’N and although his extensive work was roundly put aside by the growing scientific disciplines and specialisms and sub divisions, his work has been proved, and back in those days, life on Earth was in 3d. Not on a digital screen, but from one place and one place only on Earth, in a landscape, with the vast arc of the starry sky overhead. With his son, Dr. Archie Thom, and Dr Euan MacKie, another independent worker therefore able to observe natural facts, their body of written work of astroarchaeology stands as a comprehensive and systematic portrayal of the comprehensive and systematic activity of Neolithic societies in ancient Briton and western Atlantic seaboard. What is astroarchaeology? In a nutshell it could be said to be the societal functioning in alignment with Earth, Helios, Selene, and the brightest stars in the sky at that time.

With the geographer’s eye and knowledge again, Robin Heath – Bluestone Magic, Temple in the Hills (Bluestone Press) in 2016, right into the big scientific data era, shows how humans marked out their calendar, as did all human societies over Earth as the available Light of the Sun moved from the tilt of the Earth, and some still do. Robin Heath –https://www.skyscript.co.uk/moonheath.html – speaks of what all native societies practice, because there is nothing else. T

he Hebrew calendar in the ancient Middle East marked festival days from lunar and solar correlations, making it not an exact ‘modern calendar’ day, just as the first Full Moon of the new Lunar cycle in Anglo-Saxon pagan was known as the Wolf Moon, from the sound of wolves calling in the cold, then icy, nights. And beyond the Anglo-Saxons, Germanic Yule and Scandinavian Jol, fortunately for them less interrupted societal practices and still active participation with Odin and Freya and the pantheon of gods and godesses and alignment with the true facts of Sol and Earth, enter the Jul Blot in accordance with the dying and rebirth of the Light. Drinking and feasting and sacrificing, it is in the rising again of the Light of the World.

Yule now put, especially among us pagan folk, as the 21st December being keen to reinstate something of societal stability based on reality in the ‘UK’ is not Celtic but fully Germanic and Norse, and is not the date of 21st December. That is the Winter Solstice itself. With the traumatic history of Britain from Christian belief, it is relative and not intended as actually wrong, merely the best that we can do under difficult circumstances of the last 1,500 years. Constantine’s 336 CE declaring Christianity the official state religion required a festival day, in true pagan practice, and the allocation of 25th of December as the birth of Jesus Christ can be read as a, or the, major departure from the real facts of humans upon the Earth. The evidence shows Constantine acted from political expediency for all the reasons that study of that period open up, but from western society on a mass of spinning rock in space, the fixing of a son of a god in the sky born in a manger on December 25th puts the Son of the Christian god and the Sun, Helios, Sol, An Ghrian, which is the fundamental fact of existence on Earth in direct conflict. At first, and for several 100s of years, the Christian festival on December 25th merged in with the traditional Roman feast of Sol Invictus, given by Aurelian in 274 CE as the official Roman cult, the Unconquered Sun, because no human can conquer the Sun, and the fun of Saturnalia, merged in with the Jewish month of Kislev. The eastern Mediterranean peoples were Greeks, Jews, Romans, with the centres of Alexandria, Antioch, Constantinople and Ephesus. We here in Britain were definitely still barbarians in that time. Study of the switch from the Sun to the Son tends to stay within history and not theology, for the reason of this fundamental and unreconcilable belief in facts. Belief in the Son leads away from Earth into a place so unconnected with Earth that it is hard to see in 2025 nearly 2026 how folks can still hold such beliefs, but they do. Belief in the Sun, in the inevitable moving down the horizon into winter months, the portal of Winter Circle of stars, magnitude one stars, bright and clear, of Capella, Aldebaran, Rigel, Sirius, Procyon, and Pollux, with Orion clear in the middle, and the vast history of human societies into the portal, down, and out into the reborn Light, as one human gets incrementally older and passes on into spirit, and new humans are born, but always contained within the majestic facts of Earth and Sol, Earth and Sky.

  • Winter Solstice 2025, the 4.5 billionth-ish on Earth

21st of December 2025 in the northern hemisphere is the ‘Winter Solstice’ and in the modern era possible to measure the exactitude in minutes, which this year on Greenwich Mean Time was 3:03pm when the Light of An Ghrian, Helios, the Sun, Ra, Sol, is in the pause above 23.5’S, named the Tropic of Capricorn, does pause for a few days. This is not to take time out and consider whether to return north or just continue south and soon leave the Earth is an awful cold and dark, not to mention spinning off somewhere in space from the lack of gravity, but from the tilt of Earth which creates this slight shift from north to south hemispheres. Helios will be born again,

It all makes sense from the bigger picture when the human sees the models, or nowadays on a digital screen, and can see how from a northern latitude’s position the corresponding exact equal and opposite is experienced in the southern hemisphere (half – of Earth) because geometry is geometry, and luckily gravity holds it all in place.

So 3:03pm GMT, or UTC now but between Helios and Earth the name of the line is irrelevant and the human drawn line of longitude Pole to Pole only states the fact that Winter Solstice in northern hemisphere equals Summer Solstice over the equator and down into the south Pole. This is the fact.

However, it could be said that in the exactitude of modern measurement now down to 3:03pm for us in GMT, the word Solstice itself has got lost. Like so much in the Protestant ‘west’ which has gone further and further into detail and data and data and detail, the Heliostasio for the Greeks and the Solstitium for the Romans was not a minute or an hour or a day but as the name says, the stand still, the pause.

The latitude of Athens at 38’N and Rome 42’N is itself a difference, but in the geographical Mediterranean lands the history is interconnected and the necessity to observe celestial movements was not a pass time but for maritime navigation, agriculture, observing civic functions, etc., none of which correlate to the modern era when information appears at the touch of a button (until the next Big Solar Flare). Because the facts are still the same of Sunlight falling onto the Earth surface as it spins in space, the now obscured word of the standing still, or the pause (fortunately to come back again) would once a long time ago have been a different societal time than the 3:03pm of last Sunday. a trajectory follows through to the present time of 2025. However, when the pause of Helios is where Bamako in Mali at 12.5’N

Bamako in Mali at 12.5’N has only a short pause because Nay, as the Dogon tribe call the giver of Light and warmth, is not greatly angled above. The shadows do not fall long, and about 11.5 hours of sunlight are given at deepest midwinter. Up to Oran, Algeria, at latitude 35’N, and about 9.5 hours of Light came to Earth. Up again to Caen, and the busy ferry port where 8 or so hours of Light are experienced by the humans at that place on the Earth. Over La Manche and up to Hull, at 54’N (rounded up or down), with 7.5 hours of Light, and then its into open sea as the GMT line heads east of the ‘UK’, not correlating with dry land until the Svalbard archipelago under Norwegian governance. Longyearbyen on Svalbard, (on because although all humans are ‘on’ the Earth, it is said that a human is ‘on’ a small island, and ‘in’ a landmass) at 78’N has daylight hours at Winter Solstice of ….. zero. Not only is it zero ‘on the 21st December’ but it is zero for the whole of December, and the month either side of November and January. That is where the pause of Helios becomes the standstill. This is common knowledge, facts do not need to be referenced here because it is geographical fact.

However, this blog is very interested in the correlation or not of human society on geographical fact, and Solar fact, and this measurement of hours of Light in the Winter Solstice (and equally the opposite in the southern hemisphere) compared with universal time where anyone can sit on a computer or a smart phone and do the same thing via digital tech is the most stark evidence of a society’s departure from the facts. Until the worldwide web of time and info created the disembodied communication zone, a society measured only to its allocated hours of Light and the physical food, water, shelter, language, clothing materials from that.

Here in mid latitudes of the British Isles and Ireland, between 55′-56’N, allocated Light at Winter Solstice is about 7 hours, and a few days later it is really not much difference as An Ghrian is a long, long way south, and it could be under the definition of stand still rather than pause with several more weeks of Deep Midwinter before almost imperceptibly the hours of Light start to lengthen again. The western world is certainly not now constructed upon Solar time and the length of that pause …. or stand still for days …. but if it was, if the whole of society paused or stood still with Helios, laid low, slept, reset its circadian rhythms, feasted around a fire, sang and recited poetry, observed the winter stars, and caught up with kith and kin, how wonder-full that would be.

  • Hell in 1601, Jan Breughel the Elder & Hell in 2025, Digital Tech

‘Hell’ The painting signed 1601 by Jan Breughel the Elder, 1568-1625, (image downloaded from Artvee, which would not have been possible in 1601) is formed of oil paint on copper and shows humans in Hell, a Christian construct. In Medieval times Antwerp was a major trade market with copper from (now) eastern Europe so not hard for JB to get a sheet of copper. This scene of Hell mixes classical mythology and monsters and demons and various other contexts relevant of the time, but the title is clear, the humans are in Hell.

Switch forward a mere 425 or so years, what would a similar picture of Hell be today? Well, it could be a scene of millions of humans attached to a hardware device which needs electricity to power it (and the resources for which are running out on the Earth surface), either a relatively big one of a laptop or a desktop computer, or a tiny one of a very smart phone, with hundreds of demons sitting in the inbox, the draft box, the sent box, 1000s of what were once known as photos and 36 was the maximum you could get (if all came out okay), and random images and things flashing up on the screen, all designed to take the human further into the abyss of Hell, and further taking the natural world down into the abyss of destruction (of which the human is also a part factually).

Winter weeks of 2025, the human in 2025 faces the onerus task of ‘catching up on emails’, most of which are now lost in the 100s gone by, and how to unpick which are relevant and which not, which of the 1000s of pics is the one it is looking for, the temptation of the free email providers unable to be faced and to get itself a private email address because a few pounds a month seems like pure robbery yet the mountain of digital tech things now streaming through a hardware device, how on Earth would Jan Breughel the Elder even begin to paint this hideous scene?

  • ‘Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow…’

To lift directly from Wikipedia (and to fully reference, this was done on Sunday 14.12.2025, at around 5.30pm GMT) the song ‘Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow…’ also known as simply, ‘Let it snow…’ is the song written by lyricist Sammy Cahn and composer Jule Styne in July 1945 in Hollywood, California, during a heatwave as Cahn and Styne imagined cooler conditions. The song was first recorded that fall by Vaughn Monroe, released just after Thanksgiving when the Solar year had turned towards winter, and became a hit by Christmas.

The song makes no mention of any holiday. The lyrics include spending time with a loved one during a snowstorm, enjoying a fireplace and popcorn. When the singer has to leave, feelings of love will keep him warm once he is outside in the cold. The song has come to be regarded as a Christmas song worldwide due to its winter theme, and is often played on radio stations during the Christmas and holiday season. It has been covered by multiple artists on Christmas-themed albums.[5] (This paragraph has been copied and pasted, hence the underlines and the number 5)

As many information sources state, the original Cahn, Styne, Monroe ‘Let it snow…’ had the greatest chart success in the various No. 1’s and chart toppers of all different ‘western’ countries, but it is Frank Sinatra’s single vinyl or vinyl single in 1950 and Dean Martin’s album vinyl in 1959 which in 2025 comes over the airwaves of radios and shops from mid November, after the Christmas merchandising has been settled onto the shelves from somewhere back in August.

Whether it was the Sinatra or the Martin version, this writer would not know, but the familiar tune and the familiar words, pleasant and wintry and the world is all in order as another Christmas comes round, the song came over the airwaves of a medium sized shop somewhere along the Newcastle upon Tyne to Carlisle stretch of urban settlement, and which shop it was and where it was is not relevant. The details are neither relevant in the fact that a human walked on a certain street in Edinburgh in the evening of 14.12.2025 where the same human walking the same street 25 years ago, 2000 CE, but the facts of the natural world are relevant because in 2000 CE that street was icy, most of the winter in Edinburgh was around the snow, ice, frost temperature zone, and the same street in 2025 on the same-ish date now has rain in bucket fulls, torrents, streaming down and a zillion tourists from all over the world, all expecting the Scotland of films and romantic legend, but finding only extortionate prices, shoulder to shoulder with only other tourists, and rain running in rivers down the dark cobbled streets. The relevance of ‘Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow…’ in 2025 as taken to the natural world is ‘Please let it snow…, please!’ because from 1945, now 80 years ago, to 2025, the fundamental facts of the natural world upon the Earth have not changed and H2O still moves between ice, snow, frost, water, steam according to the temperature scale, but there is now no snow.

In that shop, only one of many hundreds, thousands, up and down the ‘UK’ where the Christmas music plays and most of it several decades old when a human sang with guitar and drums and it had a beginning, middle and end, so whether Sinatra or Martin’s vinyl, Slade, Queen, all the familiar songs fill the airwaves and tell us all is okay, and probably it was roughly speaking until about 10 years ago. Not too much discrepancy between words, goods, facts, cultural traditions, and a distinct possibility of that ‘white Christmas’ which we all know means snow on Christmas Day, such is the cultural magnetic pull of western modern life into making the Big Day perfect in every way. In 2025 where the laws of nature still obey the temperature scale, as they always will, the hope that it might snow will not be to re-create the original song where the loving couple were by the hearth (it was written for a few months later, no one would release a song about snow in high summer because everyone knows it cannot snow in high summer)and the pervading warmth of hearth and love would stay in the human when they went out in the snow, but to really hope that it might snow to show there is still some tiny grain of hope that climate catastrophe is not imminently imminent but still a way off. If it snows over Christmas or in the run up during December, all will be okay. After that, those in the ‘UK’ now complaining about anything below 15′ will resume and the Christmas separate world, separate conditions, separate requirements, will be put back in the box until next November.

In that shop, as in many, a heater now blasts heat out above the door, really blasts it so the humans with sensitive skin get heat irritation as if walking into a dry sauna too fast. In the traditional image of western Christmas, invented not just as Christmas itself was stitched together to create a date and an event, but the merchandising which has happened during the 1900s, there are no intruding facts to alter the traditional happy scene, and regardless of the state of affairs in 2025, the arrival of music, turkey, and the hope that it will be that ‘white Christmas’ stand firm as what Christmas is all about from the 1900s development of the event. If all the goods in the shop were quantified for the logistical impact on that change from snow to errr… rain and lots of it, and the logistical impact of shipping the packaging back to be ‘recycled’ by other countries for a suitable payment, the number of cars now driving into town centres compared to 1945 or the 1950s, and above all the electricity used in lighting shops and lighting Christmas decoration, and that direct and fairly shocking heat of being blasted out over open doorways, how long can we play these Christmas songs using the word ‘snow’ when there is none. ‘Raindrops keep falling on my head’ would be more relevant, sung by this writer forget who now, but it is a song, and Driving home for Christmas through the floods and road diversions would be factually more connected to life in 2025 ‘UK’ than the temporary suspension of reality in the imagery of 1900s.

Of course all shops have to shift as much goods as possible in December, get as many people in through the door as possible, especially with the months afterwards with no major merchandising festival until Easter, apart from Valentine’s of course, but that’s really just chocolate and smaller things, and in the era of government hike’s on business rates and all things hard working, what can a shop do but make it as easy for a customer to enter its portals, and no one wants to talk about the facts of the natural world that humans are under the same fundamental facts as the rest of the living world and water itself. The divergence of human activity from the fundamental facts is complete, the heat blasting over an open doorway is fully believed to go only onto the humans to give them a comfortable experience while shopping, and conveniently does not impact the air around in any way. It’s very strange, isn’t it?

  • Ukraine: where exactly do we stand in this geographical conundrum?

President Zelensky, wearing a suit, in No. 10 Downing Street, with the leaders of the ‘UK’, France and Germany.

In today’s discussions between the leaders of the four countries, Sir Kier Starmer said, ‘We stand with Ukraine.’ Who are ‘we’, what does it mean ‘to stand’, and where is Ukraine are three questions which jump out of such a woolly statement, and of course there are many others, so many and at such a complexity which is way beyond the ken of this simple pagan blog.

After Downing Street President Zelensky has met the NATO chief, and the President of the EU, and then to Italy and Rome, all in a few days and at meetings at the highest leadership level of the many organisations, alliances, groupings, opinions, possible support giving and definitely opinionators in this strange patchwork of jurisdictions over the lands north of the Mediterranean Sea and to the borders with Russia, with NATO itself extending over the …. Atlantic Ocean …. to the USA and Canada.

What does Zelensky want? Money, weapons, opinion to go against Russia, and troops, and to join NATO, and probably the EU as well. Everything from that looks into this strange patchwork as if these few days of discussions could yield a tangible result and within a month a large army of fit and well trained troops would head east and win the war for Ukraine. ‘UK’ politicians are keen on the idea of developing the arms industry, such is the economic plight going on here, and if someone would pay for them, there is probably a large stack of weapons which could be provided. If one weapon followed another, at astonishing monetary cost and destructive to human life, would that end the war and bring a long lasting solution to conflict in that region. News has it that Sir Kier has promised assistance worth £100bn to Ukraine, and that’s something the veterans in the UK wish that just a tiny weeny fraction of a fraction of that would be provided to give them a safe place to live, like other countries honour and care for those returning from traumatic combat. But £100bn can be promised to Ukraine.

From an outside looking in everything looks simple and uniform – in the sense of that word being ordered and clear and its purpose obvious. From the inside, everything looks different. The grouping of Sir Kier Starmer, President Macron and President Steinmeier with President Zelensky fits no one piece of the patchwork. The ‘UK’ has left the ‘EU’, NATO has the word Atlantic in the title and only the west coast of France faces the Atlantic Ocean, its north coast faces la Manche (the sleeve of water and which it does look like a sleeve) and which the English call not surprisingly the English Channel, and the coast of Germany faces the North Sea. How far does a coastline stretch, even the coastline of a mighty ocean like the Atlantic? Well, a long way in NATO. The Atlantic facing countries of the ‘UK’, Republic of Ireland, France, Spain and Portugal, and Canada and the USA on the other side are not one particular grouping at all, and why does Morocco, Mauritania, Senegal, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia not be included in the geographically named North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, or at least down to Senegal? Because of course the regions down the west Atlantic coast of Africa have their own cultures, political systems, tribal matters and conflicts and violent wars going on, and are not included in the ‘western’ matters of the geography north of the Mediterranean Sea. And the Irish Republic neither is in NATO, because ironically of the war the ‘UK’ is waging over several centuries onto the land and people of Eire.

If one unifying factor was to offer troops to Ukraine, would unify the patchwork of terms and acronyms and promises and confusions? There also it cannot be a uniform grouping, because of that matter of uniforms. Troops wear uniforms, it is how they are identified as being for one side or the other, and the uniforms show something of their national origin, and of course there is the flag. The Vexed question of Vexillology gets more and more intractable. Between the four leaders meeting in Downing Street today, Ukraine is undergoing the war with Russia, it’s soldiers are physically fighting, and Germany and France have announced that national service is going to be reinstated, on a voluntary basis, but movement is movement. Intention comes before the sign of movement, and physical movement has a direction. In the chain of four men, one in the east in an active fighting war, France and Germany in the middle, and over La Manche Sir Kier Starmer talking about ‘we stand with Ukraine.’ The problem is that it is the ‘UK’ which does not stand with Ukraine, only in social media and armchair opinions, but in reality, it is the ‘UK’ which cannot raise troops to send over to assist.

What if tomorrow it was announced that all young people – males and females, and everyone in between in the legality of gender equality, – between 16-35 was to report to their local Forces of Army, Air Force and Navy and begin a quick programme of boot camp training to get into battle ready condition within 2 months, what would happen? Answer: Nothing. In the ‘UK’ we have no cohesion to raise a force. In France, the Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, the young people are within an alignment of government, a functional police force able to do their job, a sense of citizen identity, and there is already the understanding that if mobilisation is necessary then physical readiness needs to be there. In the ‘UK’ where has that national citizen energy gone?

The last 25 years of Tony Blair ‘uni’s’, the selling off of playing fields where schoolchildren used to run around, the dropping off the radar of national service where young men went through the training and learnt a lot of other things besides while females served the nation in the other equally necessary ways for the functioning of a society, the collapse of the NHS and ‘social care’ resulting in millions of workers being flown into the ‘UK’ to prop up the organisations set up by the Labour government and whose only allegience to coming here is for the salary and the benefits, and who many would not be at all happy if their children were now requisitioned into an army instead of living their new life in the ‘UK’ with all the amenities and ease of this still not too hot or climatically disastrous country. The countries who have one calendar with one predominant belief system, even if folks do believe it or not, but the society does hold together from it, the people move at roughly the same tempo. Here in the ‘UK’ now with so many religions and beliefs and allegiances with so many places on Earth, and so many different views on gender and family structure and cultural norms, it would not be possible to ‘raise an army’ because we have no cultural or societal cohesion.

What if Sir Kier Starmer took back his offer of £100bn assistance and said sorry, we can’t afford it, and instead waved from the English side of La Manche and said good luck, not a great situation you’re all in over there, but here on the Atlantic we’ve got a lot of problems going on and after all, charity begins at home? It is not likely he would do that, but in the chain of events and the chain of people all meeting in these few days, someone talking about the relevance of geographical and oceanic terms would be such a welcome relief.

  • The Terminally ill Adults (End of Life) Bill in Westminster now

Assisted dying: the Kindest thing that Life can offer

Herein lies a great paradox, and possibly this current matter contains one of the greatest paradoxes of all ‘UK’ modern time. The Terminally ill Adults (End of Life) Bill – to repeat the full title, with the addition of ill written like that because Ill is actually a capital ‘i’ with two lower case ‘l’s’ which look like purely three capital ‘i’s’ which doesn’t mean a lot. Reversing upper and lower case to iLL equally works, but whether iLL or ill, the fact is the same, The Terminally ill/iLL Adults (End of Life) Bill is about one thing only, not general illness or serious illness, it is about terminal illness and to make it doubly clear End of Life has been included in the title. A terminus is the end of the line. In Eastbourne, East Sussex, Terminus Road outside the rail station is just that, the end of the train line and the beginning of the walk to the seafront. There are many terminus rail stations where the train will not go forward because it is the end of the line. Stranraer is another, as is North Berwick, and as is Tweedbank in the recent history of the resumed Borders Railway.

Terminal is definite, factual, measurable, an overarching situation within which all the normal daily life events are relegated to that vastness of human birth and death of the physical life, and which we call a span. A span does end otherwise it would not be a span, it would just go on and on and be actually nothing.

Certainly there are those few who are expected to pass shortly yet continue on months, even a year, or occasionally (very occasionally) even longer. In the scheme of things, which under this Bill is life and passing/physical death, terminal means terminal, the buffer is in sight and everyone knows it, primarily the person themselves.

As Leader of the Opposition (and how different things look when you are in opposition and free to promise anything, challenge anything, opinionate on anything) Sir Kier Starmer promised Dame Esther Rantzen, herself terminally ill in the biologically factual sense of the word, that if his party gained power they would definitely give time to this issue. Esther Rantzen was talking biologically. Sir Kier Starmer was talking politically and after the sweeping Labour victory Sir Kier has not followed through on that. Probably the statement was made in the giddy whirl of celebrity, not realising that Dame Esther was talking biologically, real life, pragmatically.

It has been, paradoxically, the Labour MP Kim Leadbeater’s Private Member’s Bill to bring the subject into the public legislative realm. and paradoxically again, Lord Falconer’s, a Labour peer, clear thinking and drafting in 2014 bringing this base matter into Parliament. Base as in basic, not base as in gross, which opponents view it, for the two-pronged religious opponents – the very religious Christians and now other religions which now have a power presence in the ‘UK’ but it is the Christians who turn out in front of Parliament to oppose the Bill and whose hatred of the supporters is scarily near wanting to do away with them (us) with no terminal illness present, and the politically religious who believe that ‘the State’ is heaven on Earth and is the one to give or take away, and any rejection of ‘the State’ is akin to aligning yourself with the political devil domain.

And thinking about it, there has now appeared a third religious-type opponent, of the individuals who do not have full mobility and therefore need to use a chair on wheels to get around, and which must be a big trial every single day, but who have appeared as an equal right opponent to this Bill. Pam Duncan-Glancy in the earlier part of 2025 when Assisted Dying appeared in Holyrood and Tanni Grey-Thompson as a current member of the House of Lords where this Terminally iLL Adults (End of Life) Bill is currently being debated – having been passed through Parliament and to repeat, having been passed through Parliament – and the very personal and very public on radio and TV and social media that is said this Bill is trying to kill us does factually show more a narcissistic personality issue than being able to read the title of a Bill from which it is too obvious to even debate that n/a to them. And within the very personal opponents are those who say their loved one did survive a lot longer than expected, and it led to that closeness which inevitable death brings and which is a good memory for those, but only because the person could talk, was not begging to die, was not asking why their loved ones were not doing the kindest thing possible of ending the fear and horror of a very bad death. But because politics is now all about the individual, even a new ‘Cult of the Individual’, and the individual voice and experience rather than the function of governance, even in the inner workings of government under the ‘UK’ and in the devolved chaos left by Tony Blair, in a debate as baseline as bad and traumatic endings for a terminally ill person and all around them, the illogicality of someone who is not terminally ill being able to speak in a debate as if it is about them, well, such is the state of governance in the ‘UK’.

Biology being biology, very many animal ‘owners’ or co-workers with animals however we define the various human-animal pairings can see when a bad ending is approaching and when that measurable point has appeared – like not able to eat or drink, being in obvious pain and distress, losing a lot of weight or bodily distortion of the part where the terminal illness is taking over – take the no-option decision out of care for the animal to either visit the vet or have the vet come to the animal especially for big farm animals, or the farmers of which there are still a few just have to act according to natural principles, which is to end mindless suffering. It is not legal in the ‘UK’ for a human to go to a vet, and this writer never understands this. Biology is biology and especially with End of Life Terminal iLLness, the principles are the same.

The opponents – all three, the religious zealots, the State zealots, and the personal zealots who cannot read the title to know it would not apply to them unless they had a terminal illness – who have introduced in the HoL, House of Lords, and Ladies now, the very very long list of objections to this Bill which has already been passed through the Commons say that the Bill is not clear, all the grey areas will lead to abuse and coercion, and their list goes on and on. In logical thinking it is the opposite, and the current situation is the chaotic one.

The title is as clear as could be, and all alongside this is the option for the person approaching the very bad end to ‘go to Dignitas’. The word Dignitas sounds very like Dignity, which of course is what it is. Dame Esther says she may consider that herself. It all stands as yet another avoidance in the ‘UK’ of the void – in food, in energy supplies, in education systems, in the apparently free NHS, in soft global power, in the ships which leave our coastline every night laden with tons and tons of recycling to be processed by some quiet arrangement with a sizable payment involved, and the option safely just outside the ‘UK’ of Dignitas where every opponent of this Bill in the Commons and the Lords/Ladies must know it exists. All the countries and USA states who have integrated Assisted Dying into their daily life governance systems, and now the Isle of Mann in 2023 Parliament now in law in 2025 and awaiting Royal Assent, are those who see a human as biology over sociology and politics, and whose government structures align with logical processes.

Would the House of Lords opponents argue that those going for a Dignified passing at Dignitas are doing something illegal, because they are British citizens therefore should be bound by laws of Parliament? Their long list of ‘points needing clarification’ could easily be reversed by looking at facts, such as the Isle of Mann, our very near neighbours around the North Sea who take a very baseline approach to humans on the physical Earth, and also to those MPs who started off opposing the Bill from back in 2014 but who then saw physical reality in someone close to them, and that horrible, shocking, deeply inhuman and torturous last few weeks or months changed their mind, and the reality of this Bill became clear, and they this time voted for it.

Yes, the process of this Bill, now passed through the Commons but being determedly held up by the Lords/Ladies does show almighty collision of all things biological, health systems, politics, religion and the new ‘Cult of the Individual’. If Dame Esther does decide to go for that uncomplicated, inevitable and clear ending out of ‘UK’ jurisdiction then maybe this would be the year of a watershed of common sense could reappear in ‘UK’ politics and a return to the real facts of life, and death, which are biology on a physical planet where everything has a span, and within which we are just very little cogs in a very big cycle.

  • Marketplace Money: Market and Oikos

This blog, written from the perspective of the observable and measurable facts of life on Earth which are that Helios, Grian, Ra, Ri, Hvare-khshaeta, there are many names for the same fact, and that fact of Helios appearing and disappearing at the angle and therefore heat strength of latitude, is always measuring to that one baseline fact for all humans, regardless of subject, and not at all from a personal perspective. A personal perspective is about an individual but a group of 10 humans standing in the same place would be at the same latitude therefore Helios would rise and set at the same angle over all of them, and they would all see the same environs surrounding them, if they used their eyes not their phones.

Marketplace Money: Market and Oikos will become a subscription blog upcoming, when the tech is navigated (navigated being yet another appropriation of an ancient word from entire history of human societies until the last 100 or 200 years when it had electricity, leaving apart this bizarre digital age which will fail in a second at a major Solar flare, including this blog of course because this blog is written from the perspective of these basic facts), while thelogicalview.co.uk in general will continue putting out apparently unrelated subject matter, except it is all looking at the same baseline facts, which is how human society fits into reality, which is Helios, Earth, Light, gravity, water, food, shelter, and all within a specific geography.

  • The Vexed question of Vexillology – Part 4

St. Andrew’s Day in Scotland and Russia, 30th November 2025

Lactantius (Lucius Caeclius Firmianus Lactantius), a Christian advisor at the court of Constantine I, wrote in ‘On the death of the Persecutors’ that Constantine had had a dream before the battle of Milvian Bridge to place the Chi Rho symbol of Christ’s name on his soldiers shields. Constantine did win at Milvian Bridge, against Maxentius, whose head was paraded through the streets of Rome and became sole ruler of the western Roman Empire, and after defeating the eastern Emperor Lucinius in 324, ruler of the entire Roman Empire, ending the complications under shared rule of the Tetrarchy and the geographical impossibility of cohesion between such a huge territory. The one Christian God instead of pagan practices and the pantheon of gods headed by Jupiter, Juno and Minerva was a novelty and one God, one Emperor sat well for Bishop Eusebius’ ambitions for the rise of Christianity.

The Chi Rho as Labarum military flag under Constantine could be said to mark a divergence in Vexillology between function of humans on land, and manipulation of belief, Constantine as a Christian or Constantine as a follower of the Sun, the source of Light and Life for all of earth, and as Sol Invictus which from Aurelian in 274 had been the official Roman cult. The Persian cult of Mithras, coming into the Roman Empire from eastern territories, was the elite Army cult, with initiation ceremonies and secret practices, such as all elite groups have and need to have to perform their difficult function for their society. Mithras, a Sun-god, was the god of contract, truth and justice, because Helios is the ultimate measure of all life on Earth, at whichever latitude and by whichever name. What exactly Constantine I was referring to as the God in the sky, it was directed by those with the writings and those with the intent to interpret for the Christians.

Bishop Eusebius of Caesarea in his ‘the Life of Constantine’ started in 337 when Constantine I died, and uncompleted at Eusebius’ own death in 339, wrote that Constantine had definitely told him that before the battle of the Milvian Bridge in Rome, 25 years before, he and his soldiers saw a vision of a cross in the sky, and the Christian god saying, ‘In this sign, conquer’.

A mere 500 years later, in present day East Lothian, the battle now known as the battle of Athelstaneford, at the Peffer Burn, was recorded by Water Bower, b. 1380s in Haddington, (by that time in Scotland not Northumbria) in his ‘Scotichronicon’, written in his latter years in the 1440s as Abbott of Incholm Abbey, on a small island on the north coast of the Firth of Forth. Walter Bower studied at St. Andrew’s University, in the town which c.1200 had acquired some relics of St. Andrew and the town was named St. Andrews. The now major pilgrimage centre brought much money and trading activity to the town. St. Andrew was said to have been martyred on a diagonal cross at Patras in the 60’s CE, and his symbol of a white diagonal cross on blue background decreed as identification on soldiers uniform by the Scottish Parliament in 1385.

A jurisdiction and a government needs to be identified, and the human as a biological animal uses eyes to identify images and physical objects. It has also the senses of touch, sound, taste, and various others, but sight is the definition of human societal groupings, ethnicity and territory.

In Bower’s writing, the battle at Athelstaneford in 832 had Athelstan, King of the Angles, meeting (in the battle sense) the Picts under Angus mac Fergus in their incursion into the territory of Northumbria, aided by the Scots under Eochaidh, King of Dalriada. As the oral tradition went, the northern folks saw a white cross of St. Andrew in the sky before the battle, and the Saint aided them in a great victory against Athelstan and his southern army, after which like the Chi Rho, the cross of St. Andrew became the symbol of the new united Picts and Scots in Alba under Kenneth MacAlpin in 843, the grandson of Eochaidh, and so Alba became modern Scot-land, not Pict-land. Pict-land of the geography above the Firth of Forth, and the Scots to the west, above the Clyde, lived within the natural geographical demarcation of Stirling, the portal from north to south, and in times long gone by when the water level was higher, the only land travel place. Such are the conditions for the human created by geography.

Walter Bower, in formalising real historical movements and battles between very different tribes and societal groupings in their very different geographies of north and south Britain, and west and east, wrote of the event around the Peffer Burn. Athelstan however was not born until the 890s and was the King of the Anglo-Saxons 924-927, and uniting by emerging as the victorious, King of a united England 927-939. There was a united Alba-land and a united England. The King Athelstan of the 900s did campaign (in the old sense of the word which meant a military excursion to create maximum destruction against the enemy) in the north, against Constantine and a combined forces from Dublin and Vikings, an almighty collision of different newly solidified powers within Britain. The site of this victory for Athelstan is put variously over middle Britain from the Wirral to Yorkshire to the present day Scottish lowlands, and far from the events in 832 in Peffer Burn.

It is those events, even if now historically mixed up in Athelstan who has his name as the village of Athelstaneford even if he could not have been there. Eanred was King of Northumbria 810-841, so maybe it was he who met the Picts and the Scots at the Peffer. Who knows. But the Saltire of white diagonal cross on blue background nearly 1,200 years later is unchanged, and the feast day of St. Andrew on November 30th is marked throughout Scotland as flag and Saint combined. Russia also marks the feast day of St. Andrew on November 30th, under the Russian flag of white, blue and red horizontal stripes.

Athelstaneford is in East Lothian, in Scotland, with the Scots and the English fighting all the way through the centuries and Berwick upon Tweed and Carlisle castles being captured, by both sides many times, bloody battles, prisoners and razing to the ground. East Lothian in then Northumbria, and the events around the Peffer Burn birthing the Saltire image of peoples beyond Stirling, to the Scotland-England border fights along the river Tweed, to English taking Berwick again and a now border of part geography of the Tweed, part England up to Eyemouth, the debateable lands subdued over west and the Solway forming the other end of the turbulent history, these latitudes of 55′-56’N, we contain here a microcosm of a complicated macrocosm and possibly with the cross of St. Andrew a flag of Christian belief and the cross of St. George a flag of Christian belief with St. Patrick added into the Union Jack in the 1801 ‘Union’, could there be a more comprehensive study of flags, land, belief, ethnicity, shifting territory, and the relationship of image to identity?

  • A Budget Blueprint

To bring society and economics onto the same page, on the same land

This week is Budget Day in the ‘UK’ 2025 and was there ever a more complicated picture in the history of human society than the ‘UK’ in 2025?

Someone might say yes of course there is, the war zones, the big global conferences trying to find something to publish afterwards of a consensus, the questions of space travel to find rare minerals to put into the endless expansion of the digital world, all these questions are put out as the big questions of 2025, and a load more besides.

In Budget Week 2025, here in this little arrangements of geography, how radical would it be to refocus everything, not upwards but ….. downwards.

What would downwards mean? Downwards would look at facts and write those facts on a small piece of paper, or no bigger than an A4, which of course does not exist in the natural world. What does exist in the natural world? The Earth does exist, and the Earth is totally dependent on the Sun. The humans who live on Earth are not just totally dependent on Earth itself, which is dependent on the Sun, but also on dry land, food source, water, shelter, and what is called ‘society’, fundamentally for procreation otherwise the human grouping dies out, but when it is procreating to sustain its society, then it is dependent on communication to enable that society to function. Economics is an aspect of semi developed societies, development used there in the modern sense of the word as being good and that every human must be looking to the Protestant ‘west’ to follow their trajectory of individual rights, consumer goods, freedom to holiday and assume that ‘the State’ will sort everything out.

If Budget Week in the ‘UK’ took a different tack to the political situation since WWII, which is an ever increasing funding of non societal healthy organisations and punitive screws tightened on those who provide the connective tissue in maintaining societal health, what could a very simple blueprint look like on the A4 piece of paper?

Here follows an example, and not under copyright or IP, so plagiarism would be welcomed:

Treat every one pound (coin) as money, regardless of whether it comes from employee work, self-employment, pensions and – and – benefits (all the many different benefits). That would automatically bring every human onto the same page and automatically bring a link to a citizen and governance, on a physical land area.

Abolish the personal allowance, it is somewhere around £12,500, and that’s a lot of money (not for high net worth individuals but for the average man in the street). Abolishing that stress point between personal money and what the State is ‘taking’ would automatically refocus the modern obsession with individual rights away from person -v- State and back to the function of governance. It could also be a useful tool to test out an individual’s psychology in whether they believe in society in Britain or not.

Completely rewrite Council Tax as not linked to the size of the house, the ‘mansion tax’ but linked to consumer load. The consumer load has a direct effect on the systems which a government and a Council has to run, like waste collection, education, care of the elderly, upkeep of buildings. An elderly person living in a large house, which was worth virtually nothing before the massive bubble in the ‘UK’ in the last few decades, but who uses very little electricity, does not put out a huge and heavy crate of alcohol bottles each bin collection (which costs massive energy to deal with), who knew that local society when there were libraries and community centres and children had no option but to be outside in all weathers with the resulting health which comes from that, and who uses very little water because they know that watering the lawn is a complete waste, that elderly person would pay very little Council Tax, maybe just £25 a month. The households which consume massively, destruct massively, and cost millions of pounds a year to the now Empire of Social Services, they would pay the top rate of Council Tax, which would be very high.

So a three point blueprint: put a sliding scale from tiny to reasonable on every single pound (coin), abolish the personal allowance, and rewrite council tax to reflect the cost a household causes to the council jurisdiction. Easy!
